Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray an 8½ x 4½-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures until just incorporated; do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan evenly.
  6. Bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to parchment paper.
  8. Brush the warm bread with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar topping.
