  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Mozzarella or Swiss)
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in half of the cheese and half of the French fried onions.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese and French fried onions.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley. Serve warm.
