- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Slice chicken in half lengthwise, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and coat in flour.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter, mushrooms, and Italian seasoning; cook until mushrooms release moisture.
- Stir in minced garlic, then add white apple vinegar. Let bubble until reduced by half.
- Add heavy cream to create a rich sauce, return chicken to the pan, and cook until heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
