Ingredients
- 1 sheet All-butter puff pastry
- 100 grams Good quality chocolate (chopped dark chocolate or semi-sweet chips)
- 1 whole egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll it out gently.
- Cut the pastry into triangles about 10 cm wide at the base.
- Place approximately one tablespoon of chopped chocolate at the base of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle up from the base to form a crescent shape.
- Brush a thin layer of beaten egg over each croissant for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
