  • 1 medium yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley (finely minced)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (divided)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the diced onion and red bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil and butter until golden, about 7-9 minutes. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, sautéed vegetables, Panko crumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties using about one heaping tablespoon of the mixture for each patty.
  4. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
