Ingredients
- 14–15 oz canned salmon (well drained)
- 1 medium yellow onion (finely diced)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup parsley (finely minced)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
Instructions
- Sauté the diced onion and red bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil and butter until golden, about 7-9 minutes. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, sautéed vegetables, Panko crumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties using about one heaping tablespoon of the mixture for each patty.
- Heat oil and butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
