  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually add this to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  6. For the frosting, combine instant coffee granules with heavy cream in a small bowl; set aside.
