Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Croissants:
4 fresh croissants
For the Salad Filling:
2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1/3 cup Caesar dressing
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup croutons (optional)
For Cooking:
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- If needed, season the cooked chicken lightly with salt and pepper. Warm it in a skillet with a little olive oil over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until heated through.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and toss until evenly coated.
- Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
- Layer the bottom half of each croissant with a portion of the chicken.
- Add the dressed lettuce on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and add croutons for extra crunch if desired.
- Place the top half of the croissant over the filling and press gently.
- Serve immediately while fresh and flaky.
