Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, grate the ginger, chop the garlic, and slice the green onion. Combine with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated apple, sweetener, and pepper in the bowl.
- Place chicken quarters in a resealable bag or bowl and pour over the marinade. Ensure all pieces are coated well. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange marinated chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), flipping halfway through.
- Let the chicken rest briefly before serving. Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
