Ingredients
- 4 fillets white fish (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice and zest of 2 lemons
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Pat dry the fish fillets and drizzle olive oil over both sides. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the seasoned fish for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
- Remove the fish from the skillet. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium; add butter and olive oil. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle the sauce over cooked fish fillets and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
