  • 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 4 slices Cooked Chicken
  • 48 slices Swiss Cheese
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
  • 12 tablespoons Milk or Cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into egg wash, then roll in panko mixture until fully covered.
  4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. If baking, transfer to a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Layer cooked chicken breast with slices of chicken and Swiss cheese; let cheese melt before serving.
  6. For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and optional milk/cream until smooth.
