Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup Nutella (plus extra for swirls)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, blend mashed bananas with sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract and Nutella until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Swirl additional Nutella on top if you like.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
