- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)

- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries with ½ cup sugar and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
- Pour in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
- Spread batter into the baking dish and top with strawberries and cream cheese cubes.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
