Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Carefully add the frozen potstickers and cook according to package instructions (about 5 to 7 minutes) until tender.
- If using, stir in mushrooms and spinach or bok choy during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Incorporate soy sauce, salt, and pepper; adjust seasoning as desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and optional chili oil or red pepper flakes for an extra kick.
