Ingredients
- 3 pounds of drumsticks
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 packet Sazon seasoning
- 2 tablespoons sofrito (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the drumsticks, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, ground black pepper, Sazon seasoning, and sofrito (if using). Mix until chicken is well coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Arrange marinated drumsticks on a baking tray in a single layer and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Flip each piece over and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
