Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and rose extract; mix until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Press mini chocolate roses into warm cookies if desired.
- Cool on a rack before serving.
