- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (diced)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
- Whisk together eggs and sugar in another bowl. Add cream, vanilla extract, and flour; mix until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries.
- Pour the custard mixture over the pre-baked crust. Bake for an additional 40 minutes or until set in the center.
- Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours. Cut into squares and top with whipped topping and strawberry slices before serving.
