Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
  2. Whisk together eggs and sugar in another bowl. Add cream, vanilla extract, and flour; mix until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries.
  3. Pour the custard mixture over the pre-baked crust. Bake for an additional 40 minutes or until set in the center.
  4. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours. Cut into squares and top with whipped topping and strawberry slices before serving.
