- 4 cups vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in a mixture of buttermilk and spices for at least one hour (overnight recommended).
- Prepare a coating mix of flour and seasonings in a shallow dish.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 340°F.
- Dredge marinated chicken in the coating mix, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through (about 15 minutes per piece).
- Drain on a wire rack to maintain crispiness.
