- 6 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 4 cups butter lettuce (chopped)
- 1 cup carrots (shredded)
- 4 small tomatoes (cut into wedges or diced)
- 1/2 seedless cucumber (sliced)
- 1/2 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons white apple vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
- A pinch of granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a large serving bowl, combine chopped romaine and butter lettuces.
- Add shredded carrots, tomato wedges, cucumber slices, and red onion rings on top of the greens.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, white apple vinegar, Dijon mustard, kosher salt, black pepper, and sugar until well combined.
