Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 6 tablespoons neutral oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 medium white onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon complete seasoning
- Salt + pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil flank steak with bay leaves and salt until tender (about 1 to 1.5 hours).
- Shred the meat using forks.
- Marinate shredded beef with lime juice, oil, minced garlic, complete seasoning, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Heat remaining oil in a skillet; fry the marinated beef in batches until crispy on both sides.
- Sauté sliced onions with the cooked beef until softened.
